- The Ilioupolis Animal Welfare Union is a non-profit, animal rescue organisation.
- From 1997 until today we care for, treat, sterilise, house and promote for adoption hundreds of stray animals every year.
- We work with our local veterinarians for vaccinations, sterilisations, hospitalizations and surgeries, as the majority of animals that reach our hands are seriously ill or injured.
- The animals that join the ZEIL family are accommodated until they recover. They are trained to be sociable and finally be adopted.
- The members of the association offer help exclusively voluntarily and without grants. Our only reward is the love we receive from the animals!
- We participate in information actions at various events and schools in Athens, with the aim of raising the awareness of the people and the attitude of children towards stray animals and their needs, hoping to build a better future.
- Our dream is a home for every stray animal!
